European Stocks Climb on Euro-Area Summit Progress, Asia Growth

European stocks climbed for a second day amid signs of stronger growth in China and Japan and as euro-area leaders edged toward agreeing on a strategy to help contain the debt crisis. Asian shares rallied, while U.S. futures were little changed.
