very stupid imo and pretty impossible.
Id assume its more to please the increasingly aggressive oecd terrorist group which goes above and beyond to bully countries with their fatf and whatnot nonsense (while clearly loosing relevance).

Ive been told by some people working in big 4 in thailand, the oecd also put some pressure on them. No idea if thats true however or just being told.

on the other hand, oecd already features countries with wide-known stellar rule of law and security like Mexico and Colombia besides the woke-istans. 😉
