Crypto Settlement Account + Payment Account

Hi all,

We are trying to open accounts in the UAE to fulfill two of our use cases. By "we", I mean a regulated crypto exchange/market-maker and an FX brokerage. We are regulated in the EU, VARA and are a payment ramp in and out of Africa. I would be grateful for any suggestions about the following:

1. Ability to take settlement and make settlement on cryptocurrency purchases or sales.

2. Second account – full on payment account where we make and receive payments on behalf of clients. I think opening an account in the UAE for this purpose might require licensing-we would be happy to go with a fintech and are open to the possibility of using their licences. The "lower-touch" the option, the better.

I have contacted the following - would be grateful for other suggestions:

1. Fuze, 2. Kingdom Bank, 3. Hubpay, 4. Trust Payment, 5. Aquanow 6. Now Payments, 7.Zandbank.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi @Wysywyg,

you can check with Swissquote in DIFC they provide white label solutions to external Asset Managers requiring Client Accounts further you can check with Maerki Baumann in Switzerland.

As soon as you go with Eastern European EMI's you end up most likely with Currency Restrictions and you are limited to EUR most of the time - you can check Verifo for example.

Thank you - you are right re: Verifo and the like. I am still looking at all options out there - this relates to UAE but we will also be needing UK accounts as we are going through our EMI app at the moment in the UK.
