Guide to start BitCoin Mining - anyone?

Does someone has a guide to Bitcoin Mining. I find it very difficult to see where to get started and what is required. So far I got an idea that you must buy some hardware on Amazon since you can't any longer just use your computer.

What else is required and what capital is required to make real money from Bitcoins?

You my find one of these forums around for such. As far as I read the equipment for mining BitCoins is expensive and you need lot's of it so most often you go together with say 4 - 10 people to mine bitcoins. I don't know really much about it but that's what I found out so far.
