Remember that if you are a director (“amministratore”), it doesn’t matter what you are actually asked to do: you are fully responsible for every action of the company, including financial transactions, even if they are physically executed by someone else and you know nothing about them.
Whatever “nominee agreement” you have signed with your client has zero legal value.

You should be hired as a proper director, without any side agreement. It’s better for both parties and you might also bring value to the company this way.

Apply online, through a consulate, or go there. It depends on the specific circumstances. I’ve done all three.
