OffshoreCorpTalk scam exposed: from CClogic front to fake forum accounts

I dont think OVZA and OCT are related. The only thing I could find is what I believe to be their request for their site: https://freelancehunt.com/ua/project/wordpress-developer/1563085.html
Not 100% sure of course but pretty certain
Yeah I did some quick research and anything I've found points to guys in Egypt. I mean multiple leads all point there, not just the one you posted.
Don't want to go in detail as don't like to dox people... but that's the country.
I know that is not exactly an Egyptian sounding surname though 😉

How come that they are allowed to spam the forum that much then? :bored:
Maybe they're one of the few real paying users and doesn't want them to leave... he's got bills to pay 😆
or maybe they're just a front, but working for johnlocke... who knows!

I don't know, but on a scale from 0 to 10 being the most shady business ever... the OCT sponsors rank 11...
there could be for sure a (small) ring of scammers doing all of this... of course it seems organized.
i mean there are links as you saw e.g. the same trustpilot avatars between companies and fake forum users etc
same wording, same ai like posts, same kind of questions, same anonymous kind of companies, fake teams, P.O. box etc

I just had a look at the reactions of the micro-propaganda thread after one week:

out of those 29, something like 20+ are MG fake users, maybe there are 2 new fake profiles (non MG) that are very suspecting, and all that's left are a couple of maybe genuine users (one of them being a mod).
and note he changed the avatars of some of them recently...
It's empty ! :clown:

Pecunia non olet but when it stinks that much a person with integrity should do something.

Come on, who in his sanity of mind could read and like such nonsensical article?
The guy is fuming because he cannot mention JohnnyDoe in his rants 🤣
(one of them being a mod).
mods deserve some investigation.
@Martin Everson seems to have some genuine knowledge of the Bahamas. He’s as pleasant as a tax audit, but he appears to be a real user.
@Sols I have doubts on him.
@Forester is real, he never became a mod (he was “moderator in training” for a while). Would be interesting to have some intel from him.
So basically it’s JohnLocke with one, maybe 2 guys running the show. Ar they paid or moved by the “philosophy” behind Offshorecorptalk?

What I truly can’t understand, though, is how someone who already has all the objective, verified information about OCT would still choose to go there in order to interact with someone or make posts…
You can't even be sure if you are talking with a real person there, or always with JohnLocke 🤣
They must enjoy to patronize a scam. Anyway, stupidity always comes with a bill, sooner or later.

It's difficult to prove, so I'm basing my guesses on suspicions, but it's certainly an️ interesting one:

It's striking that many new users use the same username. Their usernames consist⁣ of jumbled letters that have no meaning. They also use the exact same writing style,‍ which, incidentally, is also very easy to recognize on John Locke's AI accounts (except when︁ he deliberately posts in excessively poor English).

An old account that has never posted before︌ is suddenly revived back to life by posting 1 question, or a new account posts a question and then goes offline for a long time.

I think we've reached the‌ point where there are only a handful of real users left and the occasional passerby.⁤ The rest of the site's activities essentially consist of luring advertisers with whom he can,︎ in collusion, extract money from the pockets of the last remaining users.

John also detected my account on OCT and banned it by the way, so I can close this chapter and move on by building a great place here. A pillar of freedom.

what was your sin? Just being here and expressing your opinion?
I have no idea how but he somehow found out who I am and banned me for no reason and changed my username lol.

By stating "moving on" I meant not checking the forum anymore by the way. Because of course I've already quit contributing to that hornet's nest since you were banned. But occasionally checking in from a disaster tourism perspective was still fun, even though that's no longer possible.

Anyway if anyone still discovers something interesting I'd be happy to find out. I think we all make a great contribution by protecting others from using OCT.

The snowball has started rolling down the mountain of Offshorecorptalk scam, and it will keep growing. It doesn’t matter how hard the guy tries with SEO, the damage he caused to himself is irreparable.

yeah that @myshufflemix is one of the fake ones... if you scroll the likes of the micro propaganda you'll find many of them...

It's striking that many new users use the same username. Their usernames consist⁣ of jumbled letters that have no meaning
good eye, I also saw recently a lot of accounts with those jumbled letters, that post stupid questions to bump/revive old threads...
those are not mentor group. but they all have the same broken english.

if you really want to spot fake users quick... just look at the likes in threads/announces by @JohnLocke , the guy's ego is too big so he'll place many fake likes to himself...
you'll get leads from the reactions, and investigate from there.

another way is to navigate to:
o f fshorecorptalk.com/online/?type=member

(it's the online member list, copy/paste/remove spaces otherwise if you click direct links to that forum from here you 'll get the micro-propaganda wall of shame)

there you'll see the online members. give it a look every now and then, look at the starred guys with mentor group...
watch their last posts, the argument, the kind of question they ask, the likes they post/get...
also you'll catch some gold/lifetime mentor group with zero posts that he will use in future, some will be real paying users (sadly)... but others he's creating them daily and aging them 😉

once you watch it a few days, you'll start to see similarity in their avatars, their writing style, the stupid questions to bump old threads etc.
it's all there in your face, you just never realized cause you usually trust the forum and don't need to join the dots...
but once you see it you cannot go back.

don't overdo it though... the more you dig, the more it will drive you crazy :dead:

There’s enough in this thread to convince JohnLocke that it’s time to end the OffshoreCorpTalk scam and move on. But I suspect he doesn’t have anything better to do than to talk to himself and try to steal a few hundred bucks from the few victims that will continue to stumble upon his forum. After all, he has to pay the Indian SEO guy 🤣

He has to make some money from it otherwise it's not interesting enough for a crook like this, who has no interest in contributing to the common good, to keep the forum alive. But I do think it's not much and his glory days are far behind him. He probably hopes to revive it, but right now he's mainly trying to reanimate a dead body.

Here we go with another pearl from JohnLocke: he just published an article (which I can't link because he blocks people coming from this forum) titled:

Is OffshoreCorpTalk a Scam? What Real Offshore Operators Know (And Beginners Get Wrong)!

subtitle:

Offshore, scams, reality checks and why people Google "OffshoreCorpTalk scam"

🤣

offshorecorptalk scam.jpg

You can't make this up:

"Why people search "OffshoreCorpTalk scam"

"So is OffshoreCorpTalk a scam?"

"Does the forum delete criticism?

Real criticism stays. Fake reviews, revenge rants︎ and promotional garbage get removed. Huge difference."

Of course the article is promptly liked by fake user @brianK 😆
