Is there a simple way?

- as a sole proprietor
-
the country isn't supposed by Stripe
- think of "sole proprietor from Zimbabwe" for simplicity

- fees-wise may not be optimal

- not by crypto (already taken into account but it's manual)
- not by Wise (manual requires re-verification)
- not by PayPal (asks me for re-verification, other shit)
- not by Payoneer (yes but still manual as Wise, no card payments)

What would it be?

> Buy a Stripe account

No idea how much it costs, and how a deal would be made without a third party-escrow.
And even if I bought it, avoided a scam, how would I then withdraw money to my bank account - on my name?

> pretend you a different country.
Where would I get the docuements required - residency permit? I could obtain a utility bill, phone number but rarely are only these sufficient. In case of Stripe, they aren't.

Each vendor offers different methods.

Of course you would need a piece of ID, either a residence permit or an ID/passport. Replica, of course.

Couldn't you just incorporate a cheap WY US LLC? For $150 you'd be done and ready to get your Stripe and Mercury accounts I assume. Unless you are from a sanctioned country such as Syria or the likes I don't see much of an issue with this approach(?).

This is also the approach they directly advertise on their own website

Mercury is rejecting more and more customers recently, including from banned EU countries like Latvia.

For $150 and nothing more? It'll come with lots of limitations then.

To open a US LLC properly, I'd need to obtain TIN first. For which I'd need to obtain other documents first.
Without TIN, there'll be great difficulty to opening bank or fintech accounts.

No TIN needed, just the EIN for eg Mercury or another account. For relay you may need a local tax number but not sure. You can make it as expensive as you'd like so if paying $15k sounds better feel free to go outsource it to someone more expensive.

It simply is the best (and often only) way to easily get a US payment account esp. for SaaS.

You are right although Latvia does read a little random in this list, but as OP noted that he is from a third world country maybe he could check this list to see if it could be an option for him.

There are other options like Relayfi for instance. I would just open one such EMI account in the US, use it to connect and setup Stripe and then either buy crypto via kraken business or send it to a personal account somewhere else.

TIN not be needed in the beginning, for an LLC itself. But it'll be required afterwards nonetheless.
